My head feels spacey.

Apparently I have 30MB of webspace, not 10. o_O

Richard Zeeman is a pain in the arse.

Learned how to give 'tooltips' to images OR text in a webpage. Yey for the SPAN tag.

Hot... jersey-off time.

Spacey.

Where was I up to?

On an entirely different note.......... what the hell does one do when one has no clean knickers and no immediate opportunity to wash any?! o_O

Lookee. Hahahehee! I really am rather pleased with myself. >:) My thoroughly amateur webpage design skills have perhaps improved a notch. Even if I'm still only using tables. I just don't get CSS positioning (for the time being). What's so wrong with table-based layouts anyway? :P

Things that are pleasing me:
  New jeans which fit wonderfully
  Spring growth, fine details
Photographing sequential shots of apple blossom - on the young apple tree I, myself, grafted into life last year ;P
Creating a thoroughly successful new table layout and design for Earthenwords (and this blog too will have its very own)
Truly springful weather (although the temperature getting hotter daily could slow down a bit, if I had a say in matters of weather
Eating less; finding out that I can easily eat less; almost enjoying the feelings of hunger before I eat
Yummy AND healthy food. There's lots to choose from, believe me! (Ha, you never listen to me.) Hurray for vegetables!
Having a blog! I missed this - I never did cancel my livejournal, but anyway this is better - a place to cram my extra thoughts... an online pensieve?!

Ahh! hurray, hurrah! Guess what I dreamed of last night? Eh?
Hehehe! I flew on a dragon! An adorable, Ruth-sized, beautiful, vividly flame-coloured dragon, who transported me to and from a rather Hogwarts-like school. How excellent is that? I dreamed of playing outside as a means of skipping a certain greasy-haired professor's classes at said school, too. >:) ;P

News in the land of the wakeful is that we're up to our ears in DVD box-sets of most fantastic television serieses. Something like 32 hours of Farscape, of which we watched three episodes last night and which was better and more thrilling sci-fi than I had remembered... Plus I got email notification that two seasons of Buffy were dispatched last night from Oz. Sweeeeeet.

Oh, and I drove a car (for the first time) yesterday. Yay me. :P

Ew, I'm sew heppeh!... I always thought Jean-Claude would be a better match than Mr. Zeeman for Anita, just as soon as she came to her senses. Or got shocked into her senses, as was the case. :P

Kitty just got stung by a bee. She simply can't help herself: insects are fascinating targets for her young hunting instincts. Or, so she thinks. She doesn't know they dangerous. I hope she understands now. Thank goodness it only stung the outside of her nose, not inside her mouth, or she could be in dire straits.

But this puts me in mind of bees again... the hive mind or spirit is a curious thing (even to my vague, assumed understanding of it, ha..). I've always guessed that a bee stings not for self-preservation, since they subsequently die, but as a kind of revenge. But now I wonder if it has more to do with the group spirit of their hive. I mean, it could be that they try, in the act of stinging, to protect their.. er.. brethren by teaching creatures not to hunt bees, inflicting just enough pain to effect the lesson. It seems probable that they only feel themselves as an extension or particle of a larger entity, and thus could not in fact be motivated to sting for revenge.

Blah, blah... oh, how I wish for better eloquence. But there you have it; a new thought for the day.
Bye for now. :P

A rather strange thing just happened... just when I thought our cats could get no weirder! I was just about to pull my jeans back up at the toilet, when Samwise decided they looked like a good little cave for him to curl up in by my ankles - and he proceeded to do so. I had to force him to get out, after standing there for a minute laughing my guts out, since I was kinda anchored to the floor. Jeez.... cats! who'd have 'em??
